Fenway Park is the official ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball club. It is the oldest of all major league stadiums and was inaugurated in the year 1912. As the stadium is situated in the Fenway district of Boston, the name highlights that feature with clarity. As it is located in an urban neighborhood, the park offers some interesting and unique features and the most famous of them all is the Green Monster in the left field. The stadium has been a kind host to Major League Baseball All-Star Game held in the years 1946, 1961 and 1999 and has played host to the World Series nine times. Amazing. Despite having a miniature-sized field, the stadium’s oblong-esque layout makes it stand apart from other arenas. This feature makes it a reasonably viable football facility for the players.
After a thundering season in the year 2005 , the Red Sox (baseball) completed their much awaited plans for the 406 Club area, and became the EMC Club. As a result of this construction, a new addition of 852 pavilion club seats, 745 pavilion box seats, and around 200 pavilion standing-room seats with left- and right-field lines were added that increased the capacity to around 1300 additional seats. The renovations that were done in the year 2006 solely focused on changing the luxury boxes as well as adding some new food area and well furnished bathrooms behind the third base grandstands. In the year 2008, new seating area was added down the left field line and was named as the Coca-Cola Party-Deck. With the addition of 100 standing-room tickets, the capacity of the pavilion increased to just under 40,000 people. The Coke bottles, that were constructed in the year 1997, were also removed to maintain the light towers to their natural state.
