The Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater is an outdoor venue that is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The venue is geared up with a seating capacity for more than 20,000 music lovers. The amphitheater was inaugurated in the year 1996 and since it’s opening, the venue has hosted a lot of performances by well-known artists and bands. Some of them include Jonas Brothers, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffett, 311, Aerosmith, Rascal Flatts, Mary J. Blige, Steely Dan and Gwen Stefani.

A designated “roped off” area is designed on the lawn, for almost all the shows. This area is designed in such a way that it remains “smoke and alcohol free” all the time. If any show is given the label of a “Family Show,” then one child (age: 12 years or under) is admitted free of cost, on the festival lawn along with each adult festival lawn ticket.
