All the while, the drugs and egos of the band swirled below, stirring a melting pot of venomous spite amongst the bandmates. In February Vince Neil either quit or was fired, depending whose side you believe. The band was no more and Vince Neil would try and sell Vince Neil tickets for his solo career for the first time. His first effort, Exposed (1993) began well, peaking at Number 13 in the U.S., but the sales were simply not there. It failed to reach any certification. His solo career became increasingly difficult, between poor record sales, family tragedy, and terrible relations with his backing band. He failed to sell records or complete tours, lost his daughter to cancer, and got into fist fights with his touring band, leading to firings and an eventually return to Motley Crue. Motley Crue had not faired very well either in the new musical landscape, but in 1997 the two parties became one again. Despite strong showings on the charts, the first album since reuniting failed to go platinum. Tommy Lee would end up and his replacements battle with cancer seemed to take all the steam out of the band's engine. Vince Neil returned to work on his solo efforts, occasionally making national headlines for fights or sex tapes. Neil has returned to work on his own material, but a return to Motley Crue should never be unexpected. OnlineSeats will have those Vince Neil tickets, whether he is on tour by himself or with the rest of Motley Crue.
