White Lies is an UK Alternative rock trio comprised of lead singer and guitarist Harry McVeigh, bass guitarist and backing vocalist Charles Cave, and drummer Jack Lawrence-Brown. They have a new album out in 2011, Ritual, and expect White Lies tickets to sell well as the band has enough buzz behind it to dominate the UK and make a major breakthrough in the United States.
Originally, White Lies was a band called Fear of Flying. However, the trio realized material they had written in 2007 no longer matched the sound or reputation of the former band name. So, instead of trying to win over disappointed audiences, they renamed themselves and took to the difficult task of building a strong enough base to find a label.
