The world famous event YuleFest started over twenty years ago in Australia's internationally famous Blue Mountains. Today, Yulefest has grown to turn the major seasonal event of the Blue Mountains and is now enjoyed annually by visitors from Sydney and other major cities.
The story famous for the birth of Yulefest is quite interesting. This story tells about the arrival of a a group of (fairly) wise men from far off Ireland in Australia's beautiful Blue Mountains, when the snow lay round about, deep and frosty and even, in the depths of Winter when the icicles sparkled and the log fires crunched. They stayed in a grand old Mountains Guesthouse and said something in Irish like beggorahh! or something like, "It feels just like Christmas time at home." "Mine host, prepare us some turkey and stuffing and plum pudding if you would and serve it round the fire." and from that day, 'Yulefest' was born , THE Winter Xmas Party. Since that time, countless wise men and ladies and children from Australia and all over the world have traveled to the Blue Mountains every June, July and August to relish a Northern Hemisphere style 'Christmas in Winter'.

In the garden circle, one can find people enjoying a quiet moment for meditation or exercise. Another popular hot spot of fest is the fire circle in the morning. There is a nice visit to horses too. Then starts the workshop schedule. As they all related to fun and education so catch a couple before lunch. There are lot many workshop for art, entertainment, educational and promotional. The afternoon is also a wonderful time for shopping where one will find an active merchants' row with a large diverse selection of merchandise. The night charms with drum circle and a visit to AWA is incomplete without experiencing the magic around the main fire. And finally this amazing day ends up by the cafe for coffee or dessert. After 10pm the cafe is specifically for adults which features workshops or activities with an adult theme. So all in all, besides the frosty Blue Mountains' air and great hospitality, travelers have enjoyed mulled wine and egg nog by the gallon, pulled bon-bons. They had fun wearing silly hats, eaten turkey, ham, plum pudding and mince pies till they could burst out. They enjoy sitting on Santa's knee, sung carols round the fire till they were too hoarse and drunk to port to fill Sydney harbor.
Most of all, the travelers have been to some of the sterling parties of all time at 'Yulefest' in Australia's gorgeous, world heritage listed, Blue Mountains.
